about

At New Chance New Choice (NCNC), we believe transformation is not only possible—it’s a human right. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals impacted by addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness, and trauma. Rooted in compassion, community, and accountability, NCNC provides structured support through safe group home housing, life-skills development, and non-clinical behavioral health interventions. We work with those who are often overlooked or discarded by society, helping them to stabilize, rebuild, and reclaim their dignity. Every individual we serve is seen as more than a case or diagnosis—they are a whole person, capable of healing and worthy of a second chance.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to create a pathway from crisis to stability by offering supportive housing, life-skills education, peer mentorship, and purpose-driven community programs. Our team is comprised of experienced practitioners, many of whom have lived through the same challenges our residents face. Through daily structure, personalized care, and a restorative community model, we walk with our participants through the difficult work of rebuilding their lives. Our vision is to see individuals not only recover—but thrive—mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. We aim to reduce cycles of incarceration, institutionalization, and homelessness by equipping people with the tools and support they need to stand on their own.

What makes NCNC different is the belief that real change must come from both within and around a person. We don’t simply offer services—we create environments where hope can take root. Through partnerships, wraparound support, and an uncompromising commitment to human potential, NCNC builds a bridge between survival and success. And at the core of our work is a deep spiritual conviction—one that our founder, Gino Cruse, carries into everything we do:

“Spiritual energy is real. You can’t fake it. What we build here isn’t just about structure—it’s about frequency. We pour love, faith, and belief into our homes and our people, because transformation isn’t just mental or physical—it’s spiritual. We’re not just helping people find housing. We’re helping them find themselves again.”
